
Niger Delta Games set to discover new sports stars
The Managing Director of Dunamis-Icon Limited, Itiako Ikpokpo, has expressed optimism that the upcoming Niger Delta Games will help identify and nurture fresh sporting talent in the region. At a press event in Lagos on June 5, 2025, Ikpokpo highlighted the importance of grassroots development and fair competition in the games. He emphasized that the event aims to empower young athletes for both local and international success. The 2nd edition of the games will be hosted in Edo State in February 2026.
