
Two killed, others injured in Zamfara village attacks
At least two people lost their lives in attacks on Adabka and Mashayar Zaki communities in Zamfara State. What happened
- Around 43 gunmen invaded Adabka Village in Bukkuyum LGA at about 11:30 a.m. on June 5, 2025, killing a 45-year-old man.
- Less than an hour later, armed men attacked Mashayar Zaki Village along the Gusau–Dansadau Road, killing one person and injuring three others.
- The victims' families have begun burial arrangements in line with Islamic rites.
- Police, quoted by Zagazola Makama, have launched an investigation and are searching for the attackers.
- The attacks followed the recent arrest of a 32-year-old man accused of attempting to procure ammunition for Zamfara bandits.
