Customs seize 48 endangered animals in major Kano, Jigawa operation
The Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command has intercepted 48 endangered wildlife species in a single day. Usman Adamu, Acting Customs Area Controller, revealed the details while addressing journalists at the Customs House in Bompai, Kano. The seized animals include primates, wild cats, birds, albino crocodiles, and a honey badger. Three suspects have been handed over to the Special Wildlife Office of the NCS Headquarters for further action.
