
Police arrest six suspected drug dealers in Delta
Six people have been arrested by the Delta State Police Command for alleged involvement in illicit drug activities. The suspects include Anabel Haruna, Terhemen Faith, Kaityo Abigail, Iorkee Eunice, Osomuri Emmanuel, and a 15-year-old female whose name was not disclosed. The arrests were made during a routine patrol and subsequent raid based on intelligence. Commissioner of Police Samuel E. Erale has reiterated the command’s commitment to tackling drug-related crimes.
What happened
- The suspects were apprehended by operatives of the Department of Operations along Alegwe Street, off Owa Road, Agbor.
- A search of a vehicle linked to the suspects led to the recovery of Tramadol, Rohypnol, and other suspected illicit substances.
- The operation was carried out following directives from Commissioner of Police Samuel E. Erale.
- The suspects and the recovered items are currently in police custody, with investigations ongoing.
