Three suspected carjackers arrested in Lagos, police recover weapons
Three suspected members of an armed robbery and carjacking group have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in the Alakuko area. The suspects, Faruk Rasheed, Olamilekan Ademola, and Abidemi Oluwawemo, were apprehended after police received credible intelligence. According to police spokesperson SP Abimbola Adebesi, the suspects allegedly specialised in car snatching and robbing residents of their valuables. The police recovered locally made firearms and ammunition during the arrest.
