
Police detain suspected kidnapper and recover firearms in Anambra
A 25-year-old man, Emmanuel Chekwube Mark, has been arrested by the Anambra State Police Command for alleged armed robbery and kidnapping. The arrest was carried out by the Rapid Response Squad, Awkuzu, following intelligence-led operations. Police recovered three firearms and a military-pattern face cap during the operation. The suspect reportedly confessed to being part of a four-man syndicate involved in violent crimes in the Ifite Awka area.
