FG aims to finish Kaduna-Kano rail line by December
The Federal Government says the Kaduna-Zaria-Kano railway will be completed and operational by December. Funsho Adebiyi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, announced this during the 19th National Council on Transportation in Abuja. He highlighted the government's efforts to expand the rail network and reduce pressure on Nigeria's road infrastructure. The project is part of broader plans to revive rail transportation and create jobs for thousands of young Nigerians.
What we know
- Funsho Adebiyi stated that the Kaduna-Zaria-Kano railway is expected to be ready for operation by December.
