Domestic gas supply hits new high as NLNG/SEPNU leads
Nigeria’s domestic cooking gas supply has reached its highest level in over a year, with NLNG/SEPNU emerging as the top supplier. Data from the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority highlights a significant increase in supply, mainly from local sources. Despite the boost in supply, prices remain above N1,000 per kilogramme. NLNG has pointed to distribution issues and artificial scarcity as reasons for persistent high prices.
