Nigerians in UK urged to use health insurance for families back home
The Managing Director of Ultimate Health HMO, Otunba Lekan Ewenla, has called on Nigerians living abroad to enrol their relatives, dependants, and staff in health insurance schemes in Nigeria. During a visit to Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Aminu Dalhatu, he highlighted the benefits of the Diaspora Health Insurance Programme. Ewenla emphasized that sending money for medical expenses is not always effective, as funds may not be used as intended. He encouraged a shift from out-of-pocket payments to structured health insurance coverage.
