
Tinubu appoints Yari to lead APC 2027 presidential campaign council
President Bola Tinubu has set up the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 general election. Former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari, will serve as the council’s Director-General, with Governor Hope Uzodimma as Secretary. The announcement was made in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy. Tinubu urged all council members to work hard to secure victory for the party.
