Lagos gets major boost as FG installs new power transformers
The Federal Government has inaugurated eight new power transformer projects across Lagos State, significantly increasing electricity capacity for homes, businesses, and industries. Joseph Tegbe, the Minister of Power, led the commissioning of these projects, highlighting their importance for economic growth and improved power supply. The upgrades include new transformers at Apapa, Ijora, Alausa, and Lekki substations, as well as additional feeders to enhance distribution. The projects are expected to improve reliability and availability of electricity in key areas of Lagos.
