
NBTE approves more courses for Akwa Ibom polytechnic
The National Board for Technical Education has approved 23 new programmes for the Federal Polytechnic, Ukana, in Akwa Ibom State. This brings the total number of programmes offered by the institution to 44. The newly accredited courses are seen as a testament to the leadership of Mrs Edumma Essien, the rector. The programmes will initially run for two years, with further accreditation checks scheduled.
