
Ogun shuts company over illegal waste dumping and burning
Quantum Packaging Nigeria Limited has been sealed by the Ogun State Waste Management Authority for allegedly operating an illegal dumpsite and burning waste. The company, located along the Lusada-Igbesa Road in Agbara, was accused of violating state environmental laws. Farouk Akintunde, the Special Adviser to the Governor and Managing Director of OGWAMA, said the company had previously been warned about improper waste disposal. The enforcement is part of ongoing efforts to address environmental violations in Ogun State.
