Ahead of its 35th anniversary, the Abia State Government has announced a week-long series of events. Okey Kanu, the Commissioner for Information, shared details at a press briefing attended by other state officials. The programme includes project commissions, youth-focused activities, and a keynote lecture. The government also highlighted recent support for returnees from South Africa and celebrated General Ibrahim Babangida’s 85th birthday.
