Council chair launches N500m empowerment for residents
The Chairman of Odi-Olowo/Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area, Dr Oluseyi Jakande, has celebrated his first year in office with a major empowerment initiative valued at N500m. The programme provided items such as minibuses, catering equipment, and apprenticeship tools, along with a N250m loan facility for residents and small businesses. Over 600 residents who completed vocational training are among the beneficiaries. Community leaders praised Jakande for his achievements and urged beneficiaries to use the support wisely.
