Anosike launches football league to unite Abia youths
Dr Kelechi Anosike has launched the Kelechi Anosike Foundation Abia Champions League, an inter-local government football tournament in Abia State. The league aims to engage youths, discover new football talents, and reduce unemployment. The opening match between Umuahia North and Umuahia South ended in a 1-1 draw. Anosike also shared plans to establish a Sports and Football Academy in Abia if elected governor.
