Police intercepts two with large Tramadol haul in Adamawa
Two men, Bashiru Ibrahim and Mustapha Labbo, have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command for allegedly transporting 150,000 Tramadol capsules. The suspects were intercepted by police during a routine patrol. The consignment, valued at over N5 million, was being moved from Jamtari to Garwa in Cameroon. What happened
- On 11th August 2026, police intercepted Bashiru Ibrahim and Mustapha Labbo at Dabala Village via Malabu with 150,000 Tramadol capsules.
- The drugs, valued at N5,250,000, were being transported from Jamtari to Garwa in Cameroon.
- Both suspects and the drugs have been taken into custody as investigations continue.
- The police, led by CP Kabir Hassan, reaffirmed their commitment to fighting drug trafficking and abuse.
- In a separate incident, police found a missing child of unknown identity at the Temporary Market Bypass, now in safe custody at Yola Division.
