
Three arrested in Gombe for NSCDC impersonation and fake IDs
Three men have been arrested by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Gombe State for allegedly impersonating corps members and possessing fake identification cards and uniforms. The suspects, Auwal Umar, Hamza Usman, and Yakubu Muhammad, were paraded at the NSCDC State Command. According to the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSC Buhari Saad, the suspects had NSCDC volunteer ID cards, which are not officially issued to volunteers. The public has been warned to verify the identities of anyone claiming to be an NSCDC member or volunteer.
