Veritas University triumphs in first NBA university basketball tournament
Veritas University emerged victorious over the University of Abuja in the championship game of the inaugural NBA REC University Tournament at the University of Lagos Sports Centre. The event featured eight university teams from across Nigeria and included lively halftime activities such as fan giveaways and musical performances. ABUAD’s Anthony Chioke was named the tournament MVP. The tournament was organized through a collaboration between the NBA, Future Concerns Nigeria Limited, and Munch It.
