Kogi sets billboard fees for 2027 election campaigns
The Kogi State Government has introduced new charges for political campaign materials ahead of upcoming elections. Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information and Communications, announced the fees after a meeting with stakeholders in the signage and advertising sector. The new regulations apply to all political parties and candidates, including those from the ruling party. Authorities warn that non-compliance will result in removal of materials and prosecution.
