Police arrest 23 foreigners over alleged Ponzi scheme in Ogun
The Ogun State Police Command has apprehended 23 foreign nationals for their alleged involvement in a Ponzi scheme, visa scam, and immigration offences in the Onipanu-Ota area. According to the police, the suspects were arrested following credible intelligence about fraudulent activities at a residential building. Oluseyi Babaseyi, the Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the operation and stated that investigations are ongoing. Some suspects have been handed over to the Nigeria Immigration Service, while others remain in police custody.
