Security forces search Kogi forests for kidnap victims

What happened
- ASP Afusat Salisu said the rescue operation began immediately after the kidnapping incident, with security forces searching forest corridors around Okene–Ajokuta, especially Ebiya Forest.
- Teams involved include the Area Command, Okene; Police Mobile Force; Anti-Kidnapping Unit; Violent Crime Response Unit; and army detachments from Forward Operating Bases.
- The operation has received support from the Edo State Police Command, whose Anti-Kidnapping Unit and tactical personnel joined the search.
- Items such as foodstuffs, a jungle hat, and a National Identity Card were recovered from suspected hideouts, which were then destroyed to prevent further use by criminals.
