Lagos agency and Agege council team up to manage informal spaces
The Lagos State Informal Space Management Authority is working closely with the Agege Local Government to better regulate informal urban spaces and enforce physical planning rules. Daisi Oso, General Manager of LASISMA, led a team to meet with Abdulganiyu Obasa, Executive Chairman of Agege Local Government, to discuss the agency’s mandate and explore areas of collaboration. The partnership aims to promote orderliness, public safety, and sustainable management of public spaces in Agege. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to making the area cleaner, safer, and more organised.
