
Herder and 11 cows die in Rivers road accident
A fatal accident involving a Mercedes-Benz car and a herd of cattle at Evekwu in Rumuodogu, Rivers State, has resulted in the death of a herder and about 11 cows. Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle struck the herders and animals as the cattle were crossing the road. The occupants of the car fled the scene after the crash. Blessing Agabe, spokesperson for the state police command, confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
