NNPC’s AKK pipeline reaches Abuja, eyes phased commissioning
The Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano gas pipeline has now reached Abuja, marking a significant milestone for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited. Olalekan Ogunleye, NNPC’s Executive Vice President, Gas, Power and New Energy, shared the update at the Energy Business Development Forum in Minna, Niger State. The pipeline will be commissioned in phases, with the Niger State section expected to be completed before the end of 2026.
