Police arrest three, seize thousands of illicit drugs in Jigawa
Three suspected drug dealers have been arrested by the Jigawa State Police Command, leading to the recovery of 5,676 pieces of assorted suspected illicit drugs. The suspects, identified as Umar Rabiu (also known as Sarka), Auwalu Muhammad, and Umar Akilu, were apprehended during intelligence-led raids across the state. The police also recovered cash believed to be proceeds from the drug trade. The Commissioner of Police, Haruna Alaba Yahaya, praised the operatives for their efforts and warned against involvement in drug-related activities.
What happened
