Multiple fatalities in Lagos and Ogun road accidents

What happened
- In Ogun State, a head-on collision between a Mercedes-Benz truck and a crane resulted in three deaths and three injuries.
- The crash occurred along the Sagamu-Benin Expressway near Babcock University Junction, with eyewitnesses blaming the crane driver for driving against traffic and speeding.
- The injured were taken to Babcock University Teaching Hospital, while the deceased were moved to Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital morgue.
- In a separate incident in Lagos, one person died and two were injured in a multiple-vehicle crash involving a trailer, a mini truck, and motorcycles along New Road by Coastal Road.
- Olalekan Bakare-Oki, General Manager of LASTMA, called for greater discipline and adherence to speed limits among drivers to prevent similar accidents.
