NAPTIP arrests 120 for trafficking and rescues 300 victims in Ondo
In Ondo State, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons has apprehended 120 suspected traffickers and rescued over 300 victims since it began operations in the state. Taiwo Adegboyega, the State Commander of NAPTIP, shared these updates during a programme in Akure. He highlighted ongoing prosecutions and convictions, as well as collaborations with other security agencies. The Civil Society Organisation Network on Migration and Development also urged the government to better support returnees and address migration issues.
