
NSCDC recovers stolen streetlight cables in Jigawa
The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps has recovered 212 metres of stolen streetlight cables valued at over ₦1.8 million in Hadejia Local Government Area, Jigawa State. The operation followed a report from Hon. Yaro Abba, Executive Chairman of Hadejia LGA, who noticed the cables at an NSCDC checkpoint. ASC Badruddeen Tijjani, the NSCDC Jigawa State Command PRO, confirmed the cables were stolen from various locations in Hadejia. The NSCDC commended the vigilance and cooperation that led to the recovery.
What happened
