Police rescue kidnapped boy and arrest 10 suspects in Kano
The Kano State Police Command has rescued a nine-year-old boy, Ubaiyu Muhammad Sammani, who was kidnapped in Kano. The rescue followed weeks of intelligence-led operations by the Anti-Kidnapping Unit. The police arrested 10 suspects allegedly involved in the abduction, while the mastermind, Abubakar Salihu (also known as “Sankolo”), remains at large. The boy was found unharmed and taken for medical examination.
