
Police arrest seven suspected cultists and recover weapons in Delta
Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested seven suspected members of the Maphite Confraternity. The arrests were made during a crackdown on cultism and violent crimes in the state. Bright Edafe, the police spokesman, confirmed that the suspects confessed their involvement. The police also recovered weapons and other incriminating items during the operation on July 27, 2026.
