Nigeria calls for AUDA-NEPAD support on youth and women initiatives
Nigeria has called on the African Union Development Agency-New Partnership for Africa’s Development to give priority to its youth and women empowerment programmes. Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu made this appeal during a bilateral meeting with Ms Nardos Bekele-Thomas at the African Union Executive Council Meeting held on July 27 and 28 in Addis Ababa. She emphasized the need for greater investment in youth-focused initiatives and stronger collaboration between agencies. The minister also praised AUDA-NEPAD’s efforts in mobilising resources for Africa’s development.
