
NSCDC seizes truck with suspected adulterated diesel in Anambra
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Anambra State has impounded a truck suspected of carrying 45,000 litres of adulterated diesel. Maku Olatunde, the NSCDC state commandant, revealed that the truck was intercepted along Awka Road, Onitsha, after the driver abandoned it and fled. The operation was led by CSC Chris Nwosu and his team from the Anti-Vandalism Squad. The seized truck and its contents have been taken to the NSCDC State Command Headquarters in Awka for further investigation.
