Super Falcons receive WAFCON rewards from government officials
The Super Falcons have finally received the rewards promised to them by the Federal Government after their victory at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations. Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission, presented the rewards to the team in Rabat, Morocco. The rewards include title documents for houses and national honours certificates, which had been delayed until now. The presentation took place just before Nigeria’s opening Group C match against Malawi at the 2026 WAFCON.
