Sokoto vows to boost ICAN membership among indigenes
The Sokoto State Government has reiterated its commitment to supporting more locals in joining the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. Alhaji Junaidu Usman, the Deputy Accountant-General, emphasized this support during an award ceremony in Sokoto. The event also saw the inauguration of Mr Oluwakayode Adeboye as the new chairman of the ICAN Sokoto and District Society. The administration of Governor Ahmed Aliyu aims to strengthen public financial management by encouraging professional development among accountants.
