UNFPA donates medical equipment to Sokoto hospital
The United Nations Population Fund has provided modern medical equipment to the Maryam Abacha Women and Children Hospital in Sokoto. The donation aims to improve the treatment and management of obstetric fistula, enhancing maternal healthcare for women and girls. Officials from the Sokoto State Government, UNFPA, and development partners attended the handover ceremony.
