
NSCDC arrests two suspected vandals in Kano
Two suspected vandals have been apprehended by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Kano State. Mohammed Hassan Agalama, the NSCDC State Commandant, confirmed the arrests during a press briefing at the command’s headquarters. The suspects, Gath Gamaliel and Salisu Jibrin, were arrested in separate intelligence-led operations in Kumbotso and Nassarawa Local Government Areas. What happened
- Gath Gamaliel, 22, from Zango, Kaduna State, was found with 17 vandalised railway clips at Panshekara.
- Salisu Jibrin, 31, a resident of Kurna, Dala Local Government Area, was arrested at Yankaba while attempting to collect about 60 kilograms of suspected vandalised copper wire.
- The items recovered are believed to have been illegally removed from public infrastructure.
