Army detains five suspected kidnappers and seizes weapons in Yobe
Military troops of Sector 2, Operation HADIN KAI, together with the Yobe State Hunters Group, have apprehended five suspected kidnappers in Jegalari Village, Fune Local Government Area. The operation was carried out by the 233 Battalion following credible intelligence on criminal activities in the area. Authorities recovered several weapons and mobile phones believed to be linked to the suspects. Captain Mohammed Goni confirmed that the suspects are in custody for further investigation.
