
LPPC approves 68 lawyers for Senior Advocate of Nigeria rank
The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee has elevated 68 legal practitioners to the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria. The decision was made at the committee’s 174th plenary session chaired by Chief Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun. Notable among the new appointees are Adebayo Adaralegbe, Alexander Nduka Muoka, and the only successful academic, Prof Nnamdi Onyeka Obiaraeri. The swearing-in ceremony for the successful applicants is scheduled for October 12, 2026.
