NSCDC in Kwara addresses domestic violence and child abuse cases
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kwara State has reported handling numerous domestic violence and child-related cases. According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ayoola Shola, the agency managed 36 domestic violence cases between January and June 2026. The State Commandant, Abbas Mohammed, highlighted the unit’s achievements, including securing a life imprisonment sentence for a convicted sexual offender.
