Police arrest three suspected cultists and recover weapons in Lagos
Three suspected cultists have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command in Imota. The suspects, including Jelili Adeyemo, Bisoye Adewale, and John Okeafo, were found with firearms and other dangerous weapons. - Weapons recovered include a Beretta pistol, a locally made pistol, seven Dane guns, cartridges, a stun gun, handcuffs, and cutlasses.
- The suspects are allegedly members of the Aiye Confraternity, and the Beretta pistol reportedly belongs to a notorious cultist known as ‘Mayibone,’ who is still at large.
- The police have arraigned and remanded the suspects and are working to apprehend other fleeing gang members.
