
Man arrested for posing as doctor in N500,000 job scam
A 39-year-old man, Udeme Emmanuel Ekpeme, has been arrested by the Cross River State Police Command for allegedly impersonating a medical doctor. He is accused of defrauding Mrs Edemawan Samuel of N500,000 by promising to secure jobs for her children at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. Police say preliminary investigations show he used false representation to obtain the money. The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
