Indonesian woman jailed for leading baby trafficking ring
A court in Indonesia has sentenced Lie Siu Luan, 70, to seven years in prison for leading a baby trafficking syndicate. She was found guilty of exploiting babies, including sending at least 12 to Singapore. Another defendant, Astri Fitrinika, also received a prison sentence for similar charges. Police intervened after a parent reported a kidnapping, rescuing several infants before they could be sold.
