Two arrested after Akwa Ibom man beaten and buried in shallow grave
The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has apprehended two suspects over the alleged murder and burial of Nsikak Joshua in Oboetim Ikot Ekong Village. Police spokesperson DSP Timfon John revealed that the case was reported by the victim’s father, Ekere, who claimed his son was beaten to death and buried in his compound. The suspects allegedly forced the father to show where the body should be buried and threatened him against contacting authorities. The police have since exhumed the body and are searching for additional suspects.
