Police stop cult initiation and seize weapons in Delta
The Delta State Police Command has disrupted a suspected cult initiation in Orogun, Ughelli North Local Government Area. According to spokesman SP Bright Edafe, the operation was carried out by the Quick Response Squad based on credible intelligence. The suspected cultists reportedly opened fire on the police but were forced to flee after a shootout. The police recovered firearms, vehicles, and other items at the scene, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the suspects.
