Badejo-Okusanya becomes NBA’s second female president after historic election
Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, has made history by becoming the 33rd President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). She is the second woman ever to lead the association and the first to be directly elected by its members. Badejo-Okusanya defeated two other senior advocates in the NBA’s electronic election, marking a significant milestone for gender representation in the legal profession. Her extensive experience and previous leadership roles within the NBA have been widely recognised.
