Nigerian students clinch gold at Spelling Bee World Cup in China
Team Nigeria made history by winning the Gold Award in the Middle School Group Category at the Spelling Bee World Cup in Shanghai, China. The team, including students from Ar-Raheem International College and other schools, represented Nigeria for the first time at this global competition. Maryam Yusuf and Abdurrahman Yusuf were among the medalists, with Oluwadamilola Adeolu also playing a key role. The achievement highlights the growing reputation of Nigerian students in international spelling contests, especially after qualifying through the Nigeria Spelling Bee and the African Spelling Bee Championship.
