
Security forces stop abduction attempt at Borno school
Troops from Operation HADIN KAI and the Nigeria Police Mobile Force stopped an attempted mass abduction at the Federal Government Girls College, Monguno, Borno State. The attackers, suspected to be Islamic State West Africa Province terrorists, tried to abduct students but were repelled by security personnel. All 46 students were rescued and taken for medical assessment, and none were abducted. Sadly, some students lost their lives during the incident.
