Anambra teacher accused in boy’s death turns herself in to police
A teacher, Mrs Dim Ebere, has surrendered to the police after being accused of flogging a 12-year-old boy to death at a school in Adazi-Enu, Anambra State. The police had previously launched a manhunt for Mrs Dim Ebere following the boy’s reported death from injuries allegedly sustained during the incident. According to police spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the teacher is now in custody and will be transferred for further investigation. The police have assured the public and the victim’s family that justice will be pursued.
