Anambra native doctor gets six-year jail term for fraud
A popular native doctor, Onyebuchi Okocha (also known as “Onyeze Jesus”), has been sentenced to six years in prison and fined N20 million by an Anambra State High Court. Justice Jude Obiora convicted Okocha on one count related to misleading the public with claims of supernatural wealth-making powers. The court found him guilty under the Anambra Homeland Security Law after his arrest in February 2025. Okocha pleaded for leniency, citing personal hardships since his arrest.
